24-hour and Non-Occupational Coverage

Pre-existing Condition Benefit

  • Pays 50% of employee's monthly benefit for up to 6 weeks for a pre-existing condition, including pregnancy

Partial Disability Benefit

  • Pays 50% of employee's monthly benefit for up to 3 months for a partial disability (working no more than 4 hours per day)

Portable Coverage

  • Employees can continue coverage after leaving employment, as long as the master policy is in effect (with certain stipulations)

Waiver of Premium

  • Premium payments are waived after 90 days of total disability

Optional Critical Illness Rider

  • Pays double monthly benefit for up to 3 months if disability is due to covered critical illness: Internal Cancer, Heart Attack, Stroke, Major Organ Transplant and Renal Failure
